I believe every family holds stories worth preserving — the everyday moments, remarkable journeys, hard-earned wisdom, and personal memories that help us understand who we are.
Across more than 25 years in East and Central Africa, I built a career spanning humanitarian service, writing, music, television, and cultural production. Human stories have always been at the heart of my work.
Those experiences taught me to listen closely and recognize the meaning held in a small detail — a photograph, a handwritten letter, a remembered family saying.
